Publication Design
for Print and Digital at Ellie
Live Authentically Magazine/ Case Study
The Challenge
Design the magazine Live Authentically, a recurring print and digital magazine for Ellie Mental Health. Editorial design for both print and digital. The magazine style should highlight accessible, therapist-written content on mental health research, insights, and services.
The Solution
Because the magazine is created for both clinic environments and at-home and on-the-go reading, the publication was designed to make mental health information approachable, engaging, and easy to understand.
The visual system emphasized bright, brand-aligned layouts to create a welcoming editorial experience that encourages continued engagement with mental health topics. Special editions were also developed, including Pride and family-focused issues, to expand relevance across diverse audiences and seasonal themes.

Digital Experience
Designed for seamless digital access on tablet devices, with a swipe-based navigation experience that supports intuitive page progression and readability. The digital version also incorporated embedded interactive links within articles, enabling users to seamlessly access therapist-recommended resources and related content for deeper engagement. All digital assets were formatted for web use using the RGB color system to ensure consistency and accuracy across screens.
Editorial System Evolution
Adapted and evolved the Live Authentically magazine design system to align with updated Ellie Mental Health branding guidelines, translating the refreshed visual identity into a cohesive editorial framework. Established a scalable, brand-consistent template for future publications while maintaining strong editorial clarity, accessibility, and engagement across both print and digital formats.
